Soak the almonds in the apple juice for two days, then blend with the distilled water. Add the honey or brown rice syrup, ginger juice, and ice, and blend well. Serve and enjoy!
VARIATIONS
For an extra nutritional boost, add 2 tablespoons protein powder, or 1 teaspoon bee pollen, flaxseed oil, or spirulina.
If you like, add a few slices of peaches or pears for an interesting, fruity flavor.
*NOTE: To make ginger juice, simply grate fresh unpeeled ginger root on a small hand grater. Place the grated pulp in your hand and squeeze. You’ll be amazed how much juice you can get this way, without the peel or the pulp!
