In a large soup pot, sauté the onion, tofu, and mushrooms in the olive oil and soy sauce. Stir several times until the onions and tofu are browned.
Add the boiling water and green beans to the soup pot, and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the macaroni to the soup pot, and cook for 10 more minutes.
Simmer for 5 more minutes, and serve.
