1. In a large bowl, combine the Cheddar, cream cheese, ricotta, and sugar until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Combine the pecans, walnuts, and hazelnuts in a small bowl and set aside.
3. Spread 1/4 cup of the cheese mixture on the bottom of the bread bowl. Sprinkle 1 /3 of the nut mixture on top. Next, add a layer of the cheese mixture, using half of the remaining cheese, and top with half of the remaining nuts. Repeat layers with the rest of the cheese and nuts.
4. Serve with toasted sourdough bread
