In a medium pan, heat the meatballs in sauce over medium heat until the meatballs are cooked throughout.
Butter and toast 4 hoagie buns under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes. Watch closely so the buns do not burn. Layer the cheese and meatballs on the bun and cover with sauce. Serve warm.
