1. Mince the onion.
2. Place all of the ingredients except the spaghetti sauce in a large mixing bowl. Stir gently until well mixed.
3. Loosely press the mixture in an 8x4 inch loaf pan. Spread the spaghetti sauce on top with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
4. Place in a preheated 350°F oven and cook for about 70 minutes, or until the meat thermometer reads 160°F when placed in the center of the loaf.
5. Cut the meatloaf into slices and serve.
Important tip
The best way to determine if the meatloaf is cooked is with a meat thermometer. When the center of the loaf reaches 160°F, it is done.
