Did you know that all of the Cook'n CD's are designed to work together as one? Well, they are! Many people think that if they get a second CD, it will replace the first Cook'n CD that they bought and any recipes that they may have entered. This is not true.
When you insert a Cook'n CD, it checks to see if Cook'n is already installed on your computer. If it is, the software will automatically add the new recipes to the existing recipe database. This allows you to manage all of your recipes from one location. Now you can manage a whole library of electronic cookbooks from one program on your computer!
The mechanism that makes this work is a program on the CD called autorun.exe. This program is launched automatically when you insert a Cook'n or any other CD into your computer. However, since this feature can be disabled manually, some of our customers get a little confused when this doesn't happen.
When you get your next Cook'n CD, insert it into your computer and then sit back and enjoy the ride. If you need any help at all, feel free to contact us. We're more than happy to lend a hand. If you haven't considered it yet, imagine it now. Add another Cook'n CD to your collection today. Collect them all!!
Have a Great Christmas!!
