High Altitude Cookies

Cookies may give you fits if you live over 3000 feet above sea level. Well, no more! These handy tricks will keep your kitchen hoppin' with fresh lovin' from the oven!

Above 3000 feet:

Decrease the oven temperature by 25°F.

Reduce the sugar called for in your recipe by 2 tablespoons per cup.

Above 5000 feet:

Decrease the oven temperature by 25°F.
Reduce the sugar called for in your recipe by 2 tablespoons per cup.
Decrease the baking powder by 1/2 the amount called for in the recipe.
