More Miracle Whip vs. Mayo

On the subject of substituting Miracle Whip for Mayo, generally you can make the switch. But for some things, it will not work as well or will be over seasoned.

You also have to be aware of the differences between Miracle Whip, Miracle Whip Lite and Miracle Whip Free. Because of the different textures of each of the products.

One recipe I found does not work as well with the Miracle Whip is for home made Blue Cheese Dressing. I don’t have the recipe handy, but I tried the sub using Miracle Whip and the dressing turned very thin and was not very stable. It was also over seasoned.

I would suggest making a small batch with the Miracle Whip first before you try the change on a larger scale or for a party.
