Dovetailing Tips: This week dovetailing will make for huge time savings so follow along and enjoy the fabulous meals and the time you save by dovetailing! Today cook additional chicken to use on Thursday. You will need 2-3 cups of cooked, cubed chicken and as long as it is well sealed it will be just fine to cook it today and use it Thursday.
You will also be using a lot of grated parmesan this week and by grating it only once you save time and dishwashing! Grate a full cup and you will have 1/2 for today, 1/4 for tomorrow, and 1/4 for Thursday. The last big tip for getting ahead today is to wash and prepare extra fruit today so it is ready for Trifle Thursday and Kabobs Friday. As long as the fruit is nice and fresh today it should still be great Thursday and Friday.
Dovetailing Tips: Finely chopo 3/4 cup each of celery and onions today and this will get you through the week. You will use the onion tomorrow and the celery Thursday.
Use 1/4 cup of that parmesan you grated yesterday!
Dovetailing Tips: Today is when Monday's work really pays off. You have celery, parmesan, chicken, and strawberries all ready to use for this meal! Just remember to leave enough strawberries behind to use them on tomorrow's Kabobs.
Dovetailing Tips: Mmmmmm....Fruit! Even better? Fruit that is already waiting to be put on the skewer. Use the fruit you washed Monday and enjoy.
