Cinnamon Sticks

Serves 32

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
11 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cinnamon

In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and 5 tablespoons sugar together add flour and water. Divide dough into 32 equal portions and roll each. Place sticks on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes or until golden. In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. While sticks are still warm, roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
