Cool New Enhancement...Capture Preview!!

Many people have complained about the super annoying and intrusive popup ads that appear when they visit recipe web pages. Have you noticed this? It seems like the ads have gotten much worse lately, right?

In fact, some recipe web pages have so much junk on them and they're so long that it's difficult to even find the recipe on the page!

This is such a pain because, when browsing internet recipes, sometimes you want to just tap a recipe, see the ingredients, and move on. But, when the recipe is buried under a mountain of popup ads and an eight page life story, it can be difficult to find!

So, the Cook'n Elves and I gathered at the DVO Command Center to discuss this issue. We put our heads together to see if we could come up with a way to solve this problem...and we did!! Are you ready for this?

Now, in Cook'n for iOS, when you tap a recipe on the Discover View, you will see a "Cook'n View" tab (circled in red below)...

...and you will see a "Webpage View" tab.

In the past, when you tapped on a recipe in the Discover View, the recipe web page was loaded in an embedded web browser view in Cook'n.

But now, to make it even easier and more convenient for you, we pre-Capture the recipe and show you the recipe in a "Cook'n View" tab instead. If you would like to see the original recipe web page, all you need to do is tap the "Webpage View" tab.

Here is an example of this new feature in action...

Now you can see web recipes without needing to dig through recipe webpages. Now, you can tap a recipe, check out the ingredients...and Capture it or move on! Woohoo!

Nice!! Way to go Cook'n Elves!!

If you like the new feature, send a quick message to support@dvo.com (or add a comment to the bottom of this web page) and let the Cook'n Elves know. The Elves love positive feedback! With a little encouragement, they'll move mountains for you!!
