In medium bowl, blend all ingredients, except 1/2 cup nuts. Chill 1–2 hours. Form into a ball, and roll in remaining nuts. Serve with crackers on a decorative plate.
Editor’s Extra: Sub fresh pineapple for canned, then it’s fun to shape the cheese ball like a pineapple (flatten the top, score it appropriately, then put the cut-off green top of the fresh pineapple on top. Surround with crackers on a pretty plate. Pretty and delicious.
