Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a frying pan, brown beef and onion together until beef is done. Drain any excess grease. Stir barbecue sauce into beef and onion. Spread beef mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Place onion rings evenly over top. Bake 20–25 minutes, or until onion rings are crisp. Makes 6–8 servings.
