Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a frying pan, brown beef and onion together until beef is done. Stir crushed tomatoes and seasoning into beef and onion. Simmer over medium-low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place beef mixture into a greased, deep 9-inch pie pan or round baking dish. Lay individually flattened crescents over top, placing the skinny point in the center, stretching the bottom edge of the crescent dough triangle to the outside of the pan. Overlap dough if necessary. Bake 15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Makes 4–6 servings.
