Romano Dinner Salad

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/16 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon green onion minced
1 clove garlic crushed
4 cups salad greens
1/2 cup crouton seasoned
1 tablespoon Romano cheese grated

Directions:

Place oil, lemon juice, water, sugar, dry mustard, salt and pepper in a blender container. Cover and blend until smooth. Transfer to a jar or small bowl. Add green onion and garlic. Cover and let stand for 1 hour to develop flavors.

Place greens in a chilled large bowl. Remove garlic from dressing. Pour dressing over greens and toss until coated. Sprinkle with croutons and cheese. Toss just before serving.
