In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, toast seeds, stirring frequently, for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to a small bowl set aside.
Increase heat to high, melt butter or margarine in the skillet. Add cabbage. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes or until white parts of leaves are crisp-tender. Transfer cabbage to a serving dish cover and keep warm.
To serve, drain off any liquid that has accumulated and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
