Wheat Germ Muffins

Ingredients

1 package yeast active dry
1/4 cup water lukewarm
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons safflower oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup water warm
1 egg beaten

Directions:

Soften yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes. Combine wheat germ, whole wheat flour, dry milk, sesame seed, and salt. Blend oil, honey, warm water, and egg add to yeast mixture. Combine liquid and dry ingredients. Let stand 10 minutes, then mix well for 1 minute and fill 2 well-greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated 400° F oven for 20 minutes lower heat to 350° F and bake 5 minutes longer. Serve piping hot.
