Sauté onion in butter in large saucepan. Add cream cheese, half-and-half, and broth. In separate saucepan, cook broccoli according to package directions, then drain. Add broccoli, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to broth mixture. You may add chicken at this time, if desired, and heat thoroughly. Garnish with almonds and parsley.
