Smooth and Silky Shrimp Bisque

Ingredients

2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of shrimp soup
1 1/2 soup cans half and half
1 pound deveined frozen shrimp, thawed and peeled
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice seasoning
2 tablespoons cooking sherry

Directions:

In a medium soup pot, whisk soup and half-and-half until smooth. Simmer over low heat until almost boiling. Add shrimp, chives, and seasoning. Simmer about 5 minutes, but do not boil. Right before serving, add sherry.
