Mix together ground beef, egg, chips, half of taco seasoning and one cup salsa. Form into one-inch balls; place in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes; remove from oven and drain. Combine spaghetti sauce, remaining salsa and remaining taco seasoning in a saucepan. Simmer for several minutes over low heat; pour over meatballs. Spoon meatballs onto buns; top with cheese slices. Garnish with lettuce and jalapeño peppers, if desired.
