Quick Marinara Sauce

Ingredients

1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 (20-ounce) can crushed tomato
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup dry red wine
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions:

Sauté the onion and garlic in a skillet until translucent. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
