Lemon Sauce For Steamed Plum Pudding

Ingredients

5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon butter real
2 cups water boiling
Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon

Directions:

Combine sugar and flour in saucepan over low heat add butter. Gradually add 2 cups boiling water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick. Add juice and lemon rind and blend.
