In bowl combine muffin mix and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Prepare muffin mix according to package directions. Set aside.
In large pan, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chili powder, garlic, green chilies, green onions, corn, and cooked and cubed chicken. Mix until well blended. Cook over medium heat for about 7 - 9 minutes. Stirring frequently.
Spread muffin mixture onto a greased 9 x 13 inch pan, covering whole bottom; spoon hot soup mixture over muffin mixture.
