In small skillet add 1 tablespoon butter, melt over medium heat; add sliced mushrooms and saute until tender about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Set aside.
Cook the chopped spinach according to package directions; drain.
In medium bowl combine softened cream cheese and milk, mix together until well blended; add sauteed mushrooms. Mix together.
In a greased 8 x 8 inch pan, place the cooked and drained chopped spinach on the bottom. Cover with cream cheese and mushroom mixture. Top with Jack cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
