Prepare dough. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 30 min. Roll dough out thin on a floured surface and cut into strips 1/4" x 4". Boil for about 10 minutes in a large pot of salted boiling water. Chop the ham into small pieces. Melt butter in a large saucepan and lightly sauté the onion until transparent. Add ham and sauté while stirring. Add well-drained pasta to the pan and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with Parmesan cheese.
