Alaska Blueberry Special Cake

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1 large package lemon pie filling
1 (12-ounce) carton Cool Whip whipped cream

Blueberry Sauce:
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
dash of salt
2/3 cup water
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

Directions:

Mix cake according to package directions. Bake in jellyroll pan. Cool. Mix lemon pie filling according to package directions (or make from scratch). Top cooled cake with lemon pie filling; cover with Cool Whip. Serve with Blueberry Sauce.

Blueberry Sauce:
Cook all ingredients except blueberries until thick. Add blueberries. Return to boil. Chill. Serve over cake.
