1. Cook the bacon until crisp.
2. Thinly slice the tomato.
3. Toast the bread and spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
4. To make the sandwich, start with a slice of toast (mayo side up). Stack half the lettuce on top of the bread, then add half the tomato, bacon, chicken, and cheese. Top with another slice of bread and repeat the layers. Cover with the last slice of bread (mayo side down). Secure with toothpicks and cut into quarters.
