1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
2. To make white chocolate layer, beat sugar and butter in a medium bowl with electric mixer until blended. Add eggs. Beat until foamy. Add melted white chocolate. Beat until thick and yellow. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread in prepared pan.
3. To make chocolate-cheese layer, beat cream cheese in a small bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar, egg, and chocolate until well blended. Place spoonfuls over top of batter. Swirl with a knife to marbleize slightly. Bake for 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Chill. Cut into bars.
