Mix brownies according to package directions for chewy brownies, substituting milk for water. Add pecans, reserving a few to sprinkle on top. Place brownie mixture in a pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter. Melt equal parts butter and sugar, 2–4 tablespoons each depending on size of mix, and drizzle over batter. Bake according to package directions.
