Serves: 6
1. Heat oven to 400°. Grease pie plate, 9 X 1 1/4 inches, with shortening.
2. Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in pie plate.
3. Beat remaining ingredients except tomato and bell pepper with fork until blended. Pour into pie plate.
4. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Garnish with tomato and bell pepper.

Impossibly Easy Ham and Broccoli Pie: Decrease ham to 1 cup, use 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese for the Swiss cheese and add 2 cups frozen broccoli cuts, thawed and drained sprinkle in pie plate with the onions. Decrease milk to 1/4 cup add 1 cup small curd creamed cottage cheese to the egg mixture. Bake about 30 minutes. Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over top. Bake about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes. Omit tomato and bell pepper.
