Golden Fruit Nectar Punch

Ingredients

2 cups water boiling
2 cups sugar
1 (12-ounce) can apricot nectar (1 1/2 cups)
1 (6-ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate concentrate, thawed
1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate,frozen orange
1 (6-ounce) can frozen pineapple juice concentrate thawed
3/4 cup lemon juice fresh
2 (28-ounce) bottles ginger ale chilled
1 quart lemon sherbet
Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Directions:

In a small bowl pour boiling water over sugar stir until dissolved. Cover and chill completely.

In a large bowl or pitcher stir together sugar syrup, apricot nectar, limeade concentrate, orange juice concentrate, pineapple juice concentrate and lemon juice. Cover and chill.

To serve, pour juice mixture into chilled punch bowl stir in ginger ale and sherbet. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.
