Pear Preserves

Ingredients

16 cups pears
4 cups sugar
1 lemon, juiced
2 cups water

Directions:

Peel and slice pears. Add sugar, juice from lemon, and water. Simmer about 45 minutes until thick pour into sterilized jars seal and process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
