Sauté mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons of the butter; set aside. Mix flour, garlic salt, pepper, and rosemary. Dust chicken lightly with flour mixture. Brown chicken on both sides in the remaining butter; set aside. Deglaze pan with white wine. Add chicken, mushrooms, and onions to wine, cover and cook on medium low for 15–20 minutes.
For flavor variations, use dry vermouth in place of wine, or add canned artichoke hearts at the last step.
