Saute celery, onion, and green pepper in butter or margarine. Mix soup with milk. Stir into celery mixture along with chicken, 1 1/2 cups of the noodles, and cashews. Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with remaining chow mein noodles. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
Variation
Tuna Cashew: In place of chicken use 1 can (6 1/2 ounces) chunk-style tuna fish, drained.
