* Preparation Time: 5 minutes Marinating Time: At least 1 or up to 6 hours Broiling Time: 10 minutes In a 10-inch pie plate or shallow 2-quart casserole, stir orange juice, green onions, lemon juice, oil, ginger, salt and pepper until blended. Place halibut steaks in mixture, turning to coat both sides. Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate at least 1 or up to 6 hours, basting occasionally.
Bell: Spray broiler pan with non-stick cooking stray. Remove steaks from marinade, reserving marinade, and place on broiler pan. Brush top of fish lightly with oil. Broil 6 inches from heat source for 5 minutes. Turn fish over. Brush lightly with oil and broil 5 minutes longer or until center flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, mix orange juice and cornstarch until smooth. Stir in reserved marinade. Stirring over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil for 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened. Spoon over steaks and garnish with green onions and orange slices.
