In a large mixer bowl, dissolve yeast in water let stand for 5 to 10 minutes or until foamy. Add flour, butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Beat on low speed until moistened. On medium speed, beat for 1 minute or until elastic.
On a floured surface, knead dough, adding enough of the flour to make a smooth dough. Dough can be kept covered in the refrigerator, punching down as needed, for up to 5 days, or kept wrapped in the freezer for up to 9 months. Thaw at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours before using.
