Preheat the oven to 300°F. Place the contents of the jar in a large bowl. Add the egg, oil, and water, and stir well to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface, knead for 3 minutes, then roll into a 1/4 inch thick 12-inch square. Cut into 1 1/2-x-2-inch pieces, or cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. (Bone-shaped cutters are sold at many pet supply stores.) Place about 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, turn over, and continue to bake another 10 minutes, or until a lightly browned on both sides. Cool completely in the pan before storing in an airtight container.
