Serves: 5
Place all the jar ingredients except the tortellini in a medium-sized pot. Add the water and stir well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add the tortellini, cover, and simmer another 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tortellini is cooked. Serve hot. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
