Blend 2 cups flour, butter, and powdered sugar together with pastry blender. Pat into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake 18–20 minutes at 350°. Cream together eggs and sugar; add and blend baking soda, salt, vanilla, and remaining flour. Stir in sliced peaches and nuts, if desired. Pour over crust and bake 40–45 minutes in 350° oven. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
