Lemon Lush

Ingredients

First Layer:
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Second Layer:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup whipped topping (use only 1 cup from 12-ounce container, reserve rest)

Third Layer:
2 (3 3/4-ounce) packages lemon-flavor instant pudding mix
3 cups milk
chopped nuts

Directions:

First Layer:
Blend butter and flour well and add nuts. Spread in bottom of a 9x13x2- inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes; cool and set aside.

Second Layer:
Mix all well; spread over cooled first layer.

Third Layer:
Beat pudding with milk for 2 minutes or until thickened. Pour over second layer and top with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with nuts and refrigerate. May be made a day ahead.
