1. Prepare the almonds and the chaat masala. In a medium bowl, mix the yogurt, lime juice, serrano pepper, ginger, chaat masala, black pepper, and salt.
2. Place the green and purple cabbage, bell pepper, cucumbers, scallions, cilantro, and mint in a large bowl. Add the yogurt dressing and toss to mix well. Transfer to a wide serving bowl, garnish with the paprika and almonds, and serve.
VARIATION: To make a quick and crunchy hot side dish, lightly pan-cook the mixed vegetables and greens in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.
