1. Peel, core, and grate the apple coarsely. Stir in the olive oil.
2. To use, first steam your pores open by soaking a washcloth in hot water, wringing it out, and applying it to your face. Repeat several times. Then, avoiding the area around your eyes, smooth the mask over your face.
3. Leave the mask in place for 20 to 30 minutes. If possible, lie down while the mask is working. Then rinse the mask off with lukewarm water. Finish with a splash of cool water to close your pores.
