Breakfast Take-A-Longs

Ingredients

1/2 cup oleo
1 egg
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon canola oil
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, crisp cooked and crumbled

Directions:

Beat together oleo, sugar, egg and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add oleo and egg mixture and mix well. Stir in oats, cheese and bacon pieces. Drop by tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool one minute on pan. Remove to a rack and complete cooling. Now they're ready to go with you!
