Corn Bread

Ingredients

3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1 2/3 cups sifted flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients. Mix egg, milk, and butter. Stir together until lightly mixed. Bake in greased pan (8” x 8” x 2”) in hot oven (425°F) for 30 minutes.
