TO MAKE THE RUB: In a small bowl combine the rub ingredients.
Brush both sides of the steak with the butter. Sprinkle the rub evenly on both sides of the steak, pressing the spices into the meat. Grill over Direct Medium heat until nicely browned, 12 to 15 minutes, turning once halfway through grilling time. Serve warm or at room temperature.
