Chocolate Cream Pie

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
4 squares (1 ounce each) semi-sweet baking chocolate
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 beaten egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
9 inch graham cracker pie crust
1 cup whipping cream or topping
grated chocolate

Directions:

1. Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium pot over medium-low heat. Add the milk, sugar, and flour, and stir until smooth.
2. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool at least 5 minutes. Add the vanilla and egg yolks, and stir until the mixture is well blended.
3. Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared pie crust. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
4. Before serving, top the pie with the whipped cream and garnish with grated chocolate.
