Vodka Sauce


Serves: 5

Yield: 4 cups

Ingredients

3 cups marinara sauce
3/4 cup vodka
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash black pepper
1 Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Heat all of the ingredients except the cheese in a medium pot over low heat until it begins to simmer.
2. Add the cheese and gently stir for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sauce is somewhat smooth.

Recommended with:
Tortellini and other filled pasta; Penne, rigatoni, and other short pasta.
