Place oil, onion, sugar, vinegar, poppy seeds, celery seeds, salt, and hot pepper sauce in a blender container or food processor bowl. Cover and blend or process until uniform. Taste for additional seasoning.
Combine green and red cabbage, raisins, and almonds in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss until all ingredients are well coated. Serve immediately or cover and chill up to 1 hour.
