Salad Asparagus

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus fresh cleaned and trimmed or 2 10-ounce package frozen asparagus
6 tablespoons olive oil or 3 tablespoons each olive oil and vegetable
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon basil dried
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup lemon juice fresh

Directions:

Cook asparagus until just tender drain thoroughly. Beat other ingredients into thick sauce (use blender for smooth texture). Pour over hot asparagus and serve immediately.
