Combine sugar, egg whites and water in a double boiler over boiling water. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Add marshmallow creme; beat to stiff peaks. Remove from heat; beat in vanilla. Tint with food coloring. Makes enough to frost a 13"x9" sheet cake.
